Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Purpose

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how you can cancel your ScrumR subscription and how cancellations and refunds are handled.

We want our cancellation and refund arrangements to be clear, simple and transparent.

This policy should be read alongside the ScrumR Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory consumer rights that may apply to you under applicable law.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your ScrumR subscription at any time.

To avoid your next scheduled payment, you should cancel at least 72 hours before the payment is due.

You can cancel your subscription through the ScrumR app:

Account Settings → Danger Zone → Cancel Subscription → Confirm Cancellation

You can also contact us using the details in Section 7.

Cancelling your subscription will normally prevent future renewal payments from being taken.

3. Cancelling within 72 hours of your next payment

You can still request cancellation if your next payment is due within 72 hours.

However, if your cancellation request is received too close to the scheduled payment, we may not be able to prevent that payment from being processed.

If a payment is taken after you have successfully cancelled, please contact us and we will investigate the payment.

Your access will normally continue until the end of the subscription period for which you have already paid.

4. Refunds

Cancelling your subscription does not normally entitle you to a refund for any unused part of your current subscription period, unless otherwise required by law or agreed by ScrumR.

We will provide a refund where:

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to the original payment method.

Refunds are normally processed through our payment provider, Stripe. The time taken for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or card provider.

5. Recurring subscriptions

If you purchase a recurring ScrumR subscription, it will automatically renew at the applicable renewal interval unless you cancel it.

The subscription price and renewal frequency will be shown before you complete your purchase.

You should not assume that deleting the ScrumR app cancels your subscription. You must complete the cancellation process described in Section 2.

6. Payment problems

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, including where:

please contact us as soon as possible.

We will investigate the payment and, where appropriate, arrange a refund.

Payments made through ScrumR may be processed by Stripe. Stripe processes payments on our behalf, but cancellation requests should be made directly to ScrumR.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where the law gives you a greater right to cancel or receive a refund than is described in this policy, your statutory rights will apply.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time.

Where changes materially affect users, we will provide appropriate notice where required.

The latest version of this policy will be made available through ScrumR.
